Terms of Service
Last updated: August 26, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By creating an account, purchasing access, linking a device, or otherwise using the Ruby software, website, or packet gateway (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You represent that you are at least the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction (13+ in most regions, 16+ in parts of the EU) and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
2. System Requirements
The Service is delivered as a software loader that runs on your own computer and performs its detection work on your own GPU. Before purchasing, you are responsible for verifying that your system meets the minimum requirements set out below. The same requirements are published on the purchase page, directly above the payment button, and in our FAQ.
- Operating system
- MinWindows 10 64-bit (version 1903 or newer)
- RecWindows 11 64-bit, fully updated
- GPU
- MinNVIDIA GTX 900/10-series or AMD RX 400-series or newer (any dedicated DirectX 12 card)
- RecNVIDIA RTX (20/30/40/50-series) or GTX 1650/1660, for the fastest response time
- Video memory
- Min2 GB VRAM
- Rec6 GB VRAM or more
- GPU driver
- MinCurrent NVIDIA or AMD driver
- RecNVIDIA driver R525 or newer (latest branch preferred)
- Aim latency
- Min~5-15 ms per frame (DirectML), depending on the card
- Rec~2-3 ms per frame (TensorRT FP16)
- CPU
- MinAny 64-bit Intel or AMD processor
- Rec6 cores or more
- Memory
- Min8 GB RAM
- Rec16 GB RAM
- Storage
- Min2 GB free on your Windows drive
- Rec8 GB free (the fast-path download is about 4 GB, once)
- Internet
- MinBroadband, required at every launch. The runtime and model are delivered per device.
- RecBroadband, 50 Mbps or faster for the one-time first-launch download
- Input
- MinKeyboard & mouse
- RecKeyboard & mouse. Controllers are not supported at any tier.
Not supported
- Intel integrated graphics and Intel Arc GPUs. These fall back to running on the CPU, which is far too slow to be playable.
- Controllers of any kind, including Xbox, PlayStation and third-party pads. Keyboard & mouse only.
- macOS, Linux (including Wine/Proton), consoles, phones, and cloud/streamed Fortnite such as GeForce NOW or Xbox Cloud Gaming.
- Virtual machines, remote desktop, and streaming-to-another-device setups (Parsec, Moonlight, Steam Link). Fortnite has to run on the same physical PC.
Before you buy
- Fortnite must be running in Fullscreen or Windowed Fullscreen on the same PC.
- OBS must be closed while Ruby is running. Both use the same capture hook and will conflict.
- One Windows admin prompt (UAC) is required the first time, to install the ViGEmBus virtual-controller driver.
- On NVIDIA, the first launch downloads ~1.9 GB extra and builds an inference engine for your exact GPU. That build takes roughly 10-15 minutes, once. Later launches load the cached engine in about a second.
- Access is tied to the email you pay with, so pay with the email you intend to sign in with.
The minimum column describes the lowest configuration the software will technically run on. On that tier, detection runs through DirectML at roughly 5–15 ms per frame depending on your graphics card. The recommended column describes what the low-latency TensorRT path requires: an NVIDIA GPU of the Turing generation or newer, which runs at roughly 2–3 ms per frame. Both tiers are functional; only the recommended tier delivers the lowest latency. All performance figures are estimates for typical hardware under typical conditions, not guarantees, and actual results vary with your GPU, your game settings, and your connection.
The Service is sold as a one-time, lifetime license tied to your email address. By purchasing, you confirm that you have read these requirements and that your system meets them. If you purchase access without checking, or purchase on hardware, an operating system, an input device, or a setup listed above as unsupported, and are subsequently unable to use the software or are dissatisfied with its performance on your hardware, you are not eligible for a refund, a credit, or a payment dispute on that basis. Confirming compatibility before paying is your responsibility, and we will help you check it for free, before you buy, in our Discord.
3. Nature of the Software & Acceptance of Risk
Ruby is a third-party modification intended for use with Fortnite. Use of modifications like this may violate the game's Terms of Service, and account sanctions, including permanent bans, can be issued by the game's developer or publisher at their sole discretion. While the software is engineered to evade automated anti-cheat detection, no cheat is immune to manual review or reports.
You assume all risk associated with using the software. We are not liable for any account action, including bans, suspensions, or loss of in-game items, currency, or progress, that occurs while or after using the Service. No refunds or compensation will be issued for accounts banned by the game's developer.
4. Hardware & Future Changes
The current version of the Service runs entirely in software on your existing computer; no additional hardware is required. If a future version of the Service requires dedicated hardware to function, we do not provide, source, sell, or service that hardware under any circumstances. Obtaining, installing, and maintaining any such hardware is your sole responsibility and at your sole cost.
5. License, Payments & Refunds
Access is granted as a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license for the lifetime of the Service. Payment is processed by Stripe (card payments) or via the methods listed at checkout. License keys redeemed through the website are single-use and non-refundable once redeemed.
All sales are final. Because the system requirements are published in section 2 above and on the purchase page directly above the payment button, and because access is delivered instantly upon payment, refunds are not provided for failure to read those requirements, for hardware that does not meet them, for change of mind, or for account bans.
Chargebacks and payment disputes. If something is wrong, contact us first. We answer in Discord and will work with you. Filing a chargeback, dispute, or reversal with your bank or payment provider instead of contacting us is a breach of these Terms. In that event your license and account access are terminated immediately and permanently, no further access will be sold to you, and we will provide the payment processor with the record of your purchase, the system requirements published at the time you paid, and your acceptance of these Terms as evidence that the product was delivered as described. This applies in particular to a dispute raised on the ground that your system does not meet the published requirements.
Where required by law (for example, statutory consumer rights in the EU, UK, or certain U.S. states), the two paragraphs above do not override rights that cannot be waived.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your access or keys.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or redistribute the software.
- Use the Service to attack, overload, or disrupt the gateway or other users.
- Attempt to access another user's account or device data.
Violations may result in immediate termination of your access without refund.
7. Privacy & Data Processing
We process your personal data only as needed to deliver the Service: creating your account, granting and revoking access, processing payments, and preventing fraud and abuse. We do not sell your data and we use only essential cookies. Full details, including the data we collect, our legal basis, retention, and your GDPR/CCPA rights, are in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or game accounts, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
